5.0 out of 5 stars Love classic from the 90s
It's great to hear a formation of Love during the age of grunge that's consistent with the quality of its best years. I particularly like the title track and "Ninety Miles Away." These songs seem to represent the mystical side of Love ala "Da Capo". "You're the Prettiest Song" is perhaps Lee's most definitive attempt at a love song...

3.0 out of 5 stars Inconsistent in style but with moments of brilliance
I've been a fan of Arthur Lee and Love since the first LOVE lp back in the 1960's -- saw them live at the time of Forever Changes, Four Sail, False Start, and just prior to Lee's death. This hodge podge of tunes ranges from surfer style rock, to blues and acoustic. This certainly isn't a cohesive piece of work by any stretch of the imagination, but a definite must for...

Quality quasi quirky Love.

"Five String Serenade IS the Prettiest Song" on the CD
WOW A Must have for all Hard core ARTHUR LEE and LOVE fans
The history of this work is still a mystery mistory,
ah HA, It is ARTHUR's Life From begaining to END.
There are Garage type recodings that are real Underground
Sounding, being last of the 1960's Underground groups
the Hardcore blues songs are to Die for.
In true ARTHUR LEE fashtion his Harp is a scream
on the cut "Love Saga". there was a lot of death in the air
when he cut that very soulful one.
Arthur GO's FULL CIRCLE with track number 9. "The Watcher",
In the beginnig Arthur Lee Got with a little know guitar
Player name Jimmy james Hendrix a long with vocalist
Rosa Lee Brooks and recorded "My Diary".
but the out of place cut called The Watcher
IS VERY MUCH IN PLACE According to the world,
of ARTHUR LEE. SOMEBODY's WACHIN YOU tune is answered,
with this little known Guitarist/vocalist songster,
Keith Farrish. who's watching you watching me?,
It is a thinly recorded Masterpeice,
of Confusion, ANGST, Paranoia with a funky psychedelic rock'
twist. A true James Brown, Hendrix merg from Farrish's vocal track.
As ARTHUR begain with the Blues he ENDS with the BLUES,
With track 10. Passing By.
and we All are doing just that, PASSING BY.
ARTHUR HAD INSIGHT WAY AHEAD OF THE REST.
Remember The DOOR's.
