This is the last book in the Ten Tiny Breaths series and I have loved all the books so much. Five Ways to Fall was about the much awaited story of Ben, strip club bouncer turned lawyer and I have waited so long to read about this arrogant charmer and yes you heard me right I used both those words to describe him didn't think you could combine the two but that is who Ben was total man whore and honest about it all but there was this charm to him that made him so damn likable and maybe it also had to do with the fact that we have met him in the other books and have already gotten to know him and how good of a person he is regardless of his choices when it comes to being in actual relationships.

I would have to say Five Ways to Fall was by far the most different from the other books in the series the other ones were gut wrenching and filled with an insane amount of heartache while this one even though it had it's moments was nothing like the others instead I found myself laughing quite a bit.

As far as the girl chosen for Ben, Reese she was perfect for him on every level imaginable. I couldn't have pictured anyone more suitable for him. Reese was a true bad ass, I mean she had the crazy hair and the motorcycle to match it and pair it up with that attitude she screamed pure awesomeness.

What I liked the most was the relationship between Ben and Reese. It was realistic in the way things evolved between the two. The banter between the two alone made it worth the read they are both very witty characters constantly challenging each other. I loved seeing them growing closer as the story progressed.

Overall this was a great book and I am so sad to see this series end. I can't wait to see what K.A. Tucker has planned next.

Ten Tiny Breaths. This has been a special series for me. The first two books knocked my socks off. I thought they were amazing. The third book was good too, it was just missing a little something for me. This forth book… it brought back the magic of the series. It was different from the others (maybe a little lighter?) but very good!

I’ve always liked Ben. From the moment I met him as a bouncer at Penny’s. I was so happy to hear we would be getting a Ben book. And the girl he's paired with… lets just say this playboy has met his match.

Reese hasn't had the easiest life. It hasn’t been stable. She was a wild and rebellious youth. She got married at 19 to a man she hardly knew (but was very much in love with) and he cheated on her just months later. She’s not in a good place. Luckily, she has her step dad Jack to help her out. Get her a job and back on her feet. It’s a fresh start for Reese and one she’s not willing to mess up. Going to Cancun for her 21st birthday with her friends was the first fun thing she’d done in a while. It’s there she meets a beautiful blonde man.

Ben. I loved Ben’s response to meeting Reese. He could tell she was a little wild, a little crazy, and he loved it. Their time in Cancun was humorous. Maybe a little embarrassing, but they’ll never see each other again so no big deal. Until they do. Ben just got a job at a law firm. His first job as an attorney. He’ll be working for Jack Warner. The same place Reese works. And Jack makes it very clear his step daughter is off limits.

Ben and Reese have this love hate relationship at first. Their personalities are so different but match perfectly together. I love the back and forth banter they have. This was by far the funniest book of the series. Ben and Reese become friends.

This book is perfect ending to an awesome series, even though I wish we could get more of the other characters stories. I love Ben and Reese!!! I was heartbroken in the beginning when reading about Reese and her father. I am so glad that was all tied up at the end for her, not less heartbreaking to understand it all, just glad she got the closure she didn't even know she needed. Ben, what can I say about him... he's so freakin funny and adorable and funny and sexy and sweet and funny. Him and Reese are perfect together and I loved the back and forth banter between them. I also loved the banter between Reese and Mason even though it was one sided LOL. How awesome was Jack??? I just wish there would have been a moment between him and Reese where he expressed how sorry he was for leaving her behind. I did have a sneaky suspicion that him and Mama would turn out that way. I know I will never look at red paint or paintball the same ever again. I highly recommend this entire series to everyone, no one will be disappointed.

AudioBook Review:
Stars: Overall: 4 Narration: 4 Story: 3

I’ve jumped about a bit with this series, but to Tucker’s credit, the story does stand without needing to have the information from the earlier books in the series. This is a solidly new adult series, with characters that are still finding themselves, at times frustrating but always engaging.
This is predominantly Ben’s story – we are focused on his versions of events – with a solid input from Reese, and the total train-wreck that is her life. For me, Reese was about as emotionally mature as a turnip, or perhaps a 12 year old: spiteful, vengeful, angry and wholly insecure: completely unwilling to look forward to ‘consequences’ until long after she leaps. Her attempts to regain control of her life is a step in the right direction, but she still needs to deal with many more issues.

Ben was the playboy in college, and he hasn’t changed his stripes at all. Even passing the bar and starting as a new associate in a law firm hasn’t matured his own views on relationships. That whole commitment-phobe storyline is well crafted, Tucker manages to give him enough personal insight to have an awareness of the immaturity, even as he is unwilling to change.

Now, these two meet as a one night stand in Cancun – never believing they will meet again. Of course, this wouldn’t be much of a story if one night was all it was, and they meet again and Reese enlists Ben’s help in enacting her vengeance against her ex-husband. Oh, and she’s the stepdaughter of the boss, a relationship that Reese has studiously avoided and is acting out against, even though more backstory on that interaction would have served the story well.
