5.0 out of 5 stars FiveTen D'Aescent Trail Shoe, September 24, 2010

The Grip on this shoe is amazing. You are invincible on concrete and rock, however slip and slide on polished surfaces (especially on the court) great for parkour and climbing

5.0 out of 5 stars Stealthy!, May 20, 2009

These shoes automatically make you more agile. Designed for maximum scoot. They remind me of the Zips I had when I was a kid. Watch out though they run a half size too small. Nice kicks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thoroughly enjoy, November 25, 2010

The FiveTen D'Aescent's have been fantastic. I've used them for over a month now, and they continue to hold up and perform very well. The traction is great. The only problem I've found is that sand sticks to the bottoms, which is especially bothersome in wet, sandy areas making wall runs pretty tough. The fit was right on target with my running shoe size. (I typically train in Asics) The weight is very good. I feel extremely nimble with them and gain a lot of confidence when it comes to precision jumps and tic tacs. One small note, the insides slightly stained my first socks red. Not to big of a deal though.

I plan on buying another pair when my wear out. They're everything I want in a Parkour shoe.

When try to buying these shoes, first look at your foot size, take a ruler and then measures it. I did that and almost worked, I had to stretch them only a few, and now are ok. And finally find out what size matches your measured foot by asking in the factory's service contact.Great shoes for casual. De Venezuela

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Shoes, May 31, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The shoes came promptly. They fit well, and are about the most comfortable shoes I've had. The Stealth soles give good traction on the trail and are good for climbing that doesn't depend on the shoes not moving on the foot. My only worry is that the soles, being fairly thin, will need to be replaced often. Haven't had them long enough to tell though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great minimal multifunction footwear, April 10, 2011

This is a great feeling shoe. As others have said the sizing runs a little small. I normally wear a 12 or so and I got the 13 and am happy. My right foot is a bit larger than my left and initially the right shoe was uncomfortable in the toe, but it broke in after wearing it for a day. Now they both fit like gloves. Also, wear some old/bad socks the first several times out, because the orange foot bed bleeds, and quite a bit if your feet are wet or sweat a lot. Let it happen and it goes away soon. Really the only reason for only 4 stars is because the tongue does not always like to sit flat and it can bunch up and get annoying, but as long as you seat it properly when you put them on and then crank the laces down nothing goes wrong. Overall I'm very happy with the daescents; I have been wearing them almost all the time.

Damn nature! These are some fine shoes! I went running on a trail last week and I accidentally stepped on a frog, and I didn't even feel it! Shoes, you are so smooth!
