The Five Ten Marvel are great running shoes. They are very comfortable, lightweight, absorb shock well and the traction is unbelievable. I live in an urban environment so I end up walking and running across all different types of surfaces from sand, dirt and mud to concrete, asphalt and metal. These shoes have had absolutely no problem ensuring a stable grip and comfortable run. I even had a couple of good trial runs in the rain and the usually dangerous, slippery wet metal plates and service covers on the sidewalks and streets were of no consequence; these shoes had no difficulty gripping to any wet surfaces. I was a little concerned about sizing because some shoe makers use slightly different size scales, but I ordered the 10.5 size that I normally wear and they fit perfectly.

Aesthetically, the Marvels look good without being too flashy. In the pictures, the grey spots on the toe, top, back and the "5.10" logo on the side are actually a nice reflective paint. Great for those of us who tend to do our running in the dark.

Overall, I think these could quite possibly be the best running shoes I have ever owned.

Shoe in good shape. Not a good feel. would not buy again. In fact I gave them to the Good Will.
