Fix It Utilites Professional 7 by VComm,
Have been using Fix It Utilities for a couple of years, and so far, have been very satisfied. Software purchased was new as stated, with no problems. Easy installation, and operation. It is amazing at the 'junk/stuff' it cleans off ones computer. The registry cleaner & fixer increased the speed, as well. Much easier to defrag, with the scheduler activated, it's done on a regular basis and doesn't take 'forever' to defrag. Had a spyware/virus problem, VComm gave us step by step directions how to correct, whereas couldn't find anything regarding the problem when using our McAfee. VComm & Fix It won our vote!!! Would definitely recommend for us 'non-techie' folk. easy to install, easy to use.

Great Program,
I had System Mechanic 6 Pro, wasn't happy with it. Fix It Utilities really is great. Like all software, if you can download the try before you buy version to make sure it works with your set up. The biggest plus is Fix It actually speed up my computer allot, like when it was new. Secondly, it doesn't bog down my computer as bad as System Mechanics when it runs it`s scheduled maintenance. Both have a start up commander, to pick and choose what programs load during start up. System Mechanics doesn't tell you squat, if you need them or not, it's a crap shoot. Fix It tells you in great detail, what they are and I ended up un checking several programs that weren't really needed. The only odd thing, the firewall, where's the firewall in Fix It Utilities??? I reloaded the program a couple of times, no firewall. System Mechanics firewall slowed my internet down to a crawl. Strange, the only way to disable the firewall in System Mechanics was to go to the Safe Mode and uninstall all of System Mechanics , reinstall it, and not selecting the firewall.
