Ryan Adams and the Cardinals bring a funky vibe,

First off, I gotta say that I crank the volume every time I hear this song on the radio, as I just love the funky, snaky guitar line that propels this typically Ryan-esque tale of heartbreak and rejection along. Fans of Ryan Adams won't find much new here lyrically, but Adams seems to have finally found his vocal and instrumental compliment in guitarist and backup vocalist Neal Casal. Their vocal and guitar harmonies make this a standout track, 3 minutes of radio bliss. If I had to have only one track off of 'Cardinology', this would be the one.

Ryan has a deep soul and he tries to understand the bifurcated ambiguity with which many of us struggle...he ever strives to plant a vision of complexity....revealing new perspectives which are important to our experience...to anyone who cares ...damn to those who don't....THX/TLB
