This review is from: Jig and Fixture Design Manual (Paperback)
Great book! Covering topics on priciples of fixturing with countless examples.
This book is more a reference and should be read in stages. My recommendation is to read the material and apply it. The mechanical principles that are presented are simple but may need to to be seen in a real life situation. Although most of the formula are relatively simple; it would be wise to brush up on basic Algebra and Trig. Overall a timeless read...

This is an older book that is complicated to the layman metalworker. Most of the engineers I know would a little trouble with this book too. I haven't read all of it yet, but it is worth having in my machining book collection. Like always, I believe if I find a few neat things, its a good buy. I have seen a few good nuggets in this book. Was really looking for a clearer approach to fixture building, but hey I have a book that REALLY breaks down the way fixtures are built! Lots of mathematical formulas!
