Each page or two-page spread features the different flags of the various North Carolina regiments. A meticulously detailed resource offering very specific information for history and civil war buffs, The Flags Of Civil War North Carolina is a welcome contribution to the growing library of Civil War Studies and could well serve as a template for similar volumes for the other Confederate as well as Union states.

This is an outstanding book about the Civil War Flags of North Carolina. Major cudos to the author who has done very thorough and interesting history about the flags of the infantry, artillery, home guard, and HQ Flags of North Carolina from the beginning in 1861 to the end in 1865. Glenn Dedmondt makes every flags history interesting to read. The details of where the flag was made and what the flags went through are not boring by any means. This is an OUTSTANDING reference to any Civil War Historian or enthusiast. A fine addition to any Civil War library. Each of Glen Dedmondt's books about Confederate State Flags is worth obtaining. A truely must have!
