I had to return the first one I got because I ordered one that was way too big, the customer service at this firm was great. They sent me a new one and a check for the difference of the cost.The Flag is beautiful, and the workmanship is well done.

I purchased a cotton USA 3x5 flag 4/25/2009 for $22.89, from The Flag Center,an American company in New Bern NC. Advertised as providing A ONE YEAR COLOR-FAST GUARANTEE(their capitals in their advertising)100% heavy-duty outdoor,all weather cotton flag. The flag was beautiful, but unfortunately after being flown from April until October it was "faded" and looked terrible. I discussed this on the phone with Mr Rust, but was told that fading and color-fastness are two different things. Fading of course is not covered by the guarantee. Obviously this was used as an excuse for not replacing the flag. If you purchased a flag with a color-fast guarantee wouldn't you expect it to retain its color for longer than 6 months? It's unfortunate an American company, that you've intentionally supported, does not stand by it's own advertising. I will not fly this "faded" flag as it is an insult to the USA. I will give it a proper burial at my local VFW. Shame on you The Flag Center and A. Thompson Flags and Banners. Unfortunately I left a positive feedback when I had first received the flag.

I got this because I live in a high wind area and I was under the impression it would be suitable for that. The stitching seems to be holding better that most flags, but the 2nd day it started to pull away from the brass holes where the material is. I don't know exactly what to do about this. It is holding for the moment. It seems the brass is not crimped tightly enough to the material and has stretched so the holes in the material are now too large to be re-crimped. Nice flag though.
