While this is under Abrams' children's label, FLAGS OF THE WORLD is reviewed here for its attraction to any reference library and to all ages. It reviews colors, patterns, designs and evolutions of flags around the world, offering a survey of each nation's flag and its history. A fine 'must have' for any reference section strong in world geography and cultures.

I bought this book (along with several others) to give my kiddos some fun games to play on the weekends rather than just wasting their brains in front of the tube. Well done, beautiful binding... colorful... it's everything i expected.
