I used this tool to replumb 80% of my house. It was easy to use, requiring light to moderate effort to achieve perfect results every time. I usually started the crimp with two hands, since the handles were farther apart, but I could finish with one hand as the clamp cinched down. As opposed to the PEX crimp rings, which need to be checked with a gage, this tool is right every time. No leaks with over 150 fittings in my house!

One thing to note, these crimpers need to be held perpendicular to the tubing, which makes it difficult to use in very confined spaces. However, I found that preassembly of the pieces was much easier anyway, then I just stuck them up in the joists ready to go. PEX is cool that way.

One note, it is worth buying the crimp ring "buster", a pair of cutting pliers to get the stainless rings off. They're cheap, and if you happen to crimp the wrong tube at the wrong time, they save a ton of hassle getting the rings off...let me tell you.
