The case is very sturdy and well made.

I love to be organized and with the dividers to separate the magazines and the straps to tie down the rifle, that's a great feature.

Take both egg foams out and position your gun in the case and now close your case thinking about those 4 corners.

Just got my case today, I attached the Velcro straps and the dividers to fit my needs. I have to say this case is beyond what I expected, if your looking for a case to store your M4 while still have that cool look when going to the range this case is perfect! This case is tough and well built. I will post up some pics for you all to see how my AR looks in it.

5 Star
Pros:
Clean and rugged!
Not to bulgy!
Hard case!
Cool!

Cons:
None!

Although my AR came with a plastic hard case brand new, I decided to go with this Flambeau tactical case to use for transport. The plastic case is very durable, but not sure how it will stand up if used for air transport. I love to be organized and with the dividers to separate the magazines and the straps to tie down the rifle, that's a great feature. What is also nice is that you can configure the dividers multiple ways to suit your needs (some assembly is required). The egg shell foam is firm and does not slide all over the place.

Fits my S&W AR Sportrr perfectly and it can hold 4 - 30 round mags. Attached the straps provided and it secures the AR and mag.

YES, You can buy a Pelican and I own about 15 different Pelican cases. But for a hard case for your AR-15, it's perfect. Velcro tie downs to hold the rifle in place. Seperate compartments for 2 magazines, and for me, a tie down for a scope and sling.
Perfect package.

The best case I've owned. I did done a ton of research and decided to go with this one due to the ratings it received. I was not disappointed. It has a built in anti-corrosion system which I didn't know.

Pros:
Fits my Daniel Defense V5 with scope and bi-pod attached no problem with room to spare.

4 corner compartments that can hold a 30 round clip, bi-pod, scope, etc when detached.

Very sturdy construction with optional straps that can be anchored to the case.

Cons:
For such an awesome case the directions leaflet suck. Brevity is the sole of wit but the directions lack in any real functional explanation and makes it seems like a chore to set it up; which it's not.

Can pinch fingers when snapping the latches while holding the carrier handle. Not really a con due to the latches and seal being hard and tight. So more like a warning.

Only 4 straps provided. I feel 6 would be optimal.

Here's an explanation on how to set it up and it's features:

It comes with 4 dividers. They are plastic but these are made with the anti-corrosion material. Just having them in the case prevents corrosion, they just conveniently made them dividers as well.

@ 36 seconds you can see how that material prevents corrosion: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vJscjAuaKLc

There are 2 sections of egg shell foam, one for the top lid and one for the bottom. (The lid to me is the half of the case that comes down, when the latches are facing me, and latches go down to snap. Just my preference)

Flip each egg foam over and gently stretch them at the corners and you will see every corner has a line of lacerations that you can run a knife through to separate a corner. DO NOT CUT YET.

Pretty flimsy, but good enough to use for storage. Try to figure out the cryptic inside assembly instructions. I had to call them up to figure it out, but they were helpful. They sent me a picture of what it's supposed to look like when completed. Be careful when you cut the interior foam to fit inside the anti-rust frame. The foam is scored on all 4 sides, so make sure you are cutting out the section you need to and not a section you don't.

I think this case will hold up too most travel. It would have to be rough to dent it. word of warning, it is fairly short and you need to check your total rifle length before ordering
