Believe it or not, this thing works. I had one of these a few years back. I used it for a couple of seasons in California before losing it. I couldn"t find it anymore until I decided to check Amazon. I called in 2 huge 4 x 4s during archery season only to have the wind shift and spook them. Then during opening day in rifle season in zone X3A I called in a spindly 3 x 3 that i passed on. Coincidence? Maybe, but those animals were coming right towards my position. Once I spotted a doe 2 ridges over and decided to have some fun and try to all her in. She literally came to withen 5 feet of me before I got nervous and stood up. That deer must have jumped 20' backwards. I'm sold on this product. Inexoensive too.

This was exactly what my husband wanted and he can't wait until bow season begins soon.

This call is a great doe socializing call and will cause does to come in to its sound to investigate. It is small and flat so it fits easily into a jacket or pants pocket. I use it in conjunction with a doe grunt call which I attach to my wrist. It almost always works for me.
