Overall: decent for those who don't fish often. nice features. Holds a moderate amount of tackle and is a great starter set, but the durability is not up to par and eventually more serious fisherman will want something with way more storage space. After a year with this thing, I can say it was a nice bag to start with, but now I want more!!

Pros: Has nice features for the price--has four side pockets to hold little tackle items. The included utility boxes let you organize your stuff immediately and the spinnerbait box is also a nice feature. Also has an inner section to hold a spool of line. Shoulder strap and the fact that this is a soft bag make this is a blessing for bank fisherman--reasonably comfortable to carry around if not weighted down too much.

Cons: Poor durability. I fish about 2-3x a week and have had this for more than a year. The seam holding the top & bottom sections started to separate, so be careful of how much weight you load the bottom section. Keep heavy tackle items (weights) in the top section. Right now there are only two small holes, but I anticipate I will need to replace the bag in a few months.

End thoughts: If you don't plan on fishing much and just want something to organize your tackle, then this is the bag to go with. But if you love fishing and expect to do a lot, spend a little more money upfront and get something with more space--you'll appreciate it more. I wish I wasn't so cheap in the beginning...

This was a gift to our 8 year old grandson for his birthday. He had asked for a soft sided tackle box, being grandma, I went on line and found this very durable and roomy tackle box. His uncles, counsins, his dad and grandpa were jealous. But it is rather on the large side and maybe a little to big for him right now. But since his die hard fisherman uncle said he would like one like it, he will not give it up. Made him very happy. Very good quality and the price was right. I do recommend this.

I have a bigger version of this box which holds everything I have. It was on its last leg so I wanted a new one. Bought this one, it looked good in the picture, when it arrived, I opened the box and only had to laugh at myself for spending $35 on something that doesn't hold half of my tackle. It wasn't even close. Don't know what to do with it and still in need of tackle box.

I thought I'd like this tacklebox, but I do not! The entire unit is softside which makes it lightweight (good), but when you remove something from the bottom section the entire thing collapses because there's no longer anything to hold it up. I also found that the cloth gets dirty/wet. I used this tacklebox for a long weekend of camping/fishing and immediately retired it upon my return home. If I hadn't used it, I'd return it.

I bought this item thinking it was bigger than it really is. Most times it is hard to judge sizes without something to compare it to. I wanted a bag that was big enough to carry a full days worth of bass fishing tackle, different lures and such, plus my lunch. I like the bag, but it just wasn't what I expected.

Cool bag cool color = cool fisherman. Seriously though I use it for my bass rigs and mostly fly fishing reels, leaders, and well...flies. Somewhat of a weird configuration with the compartments and all but otherwise perfect.

I replaced my giant hard plastic Plano box for this smaller, lighter one and so far I've been mostly pleased. It comes with plenty of inner plastic storage boxes that you can set up to your own liking. There is plenty of room for lots of small to medium sized lures, hooks and other such stuff. Though it clearly hasn't improved my fishing skills any it has made my trips out a bit easier to lug around.
I'd give it 5 stars except for two things that are minor but none the less an issue for me.
1). The individual plastic boxes close tight enough and won't accidently flop open but the internal dividers don't keep all the smaller hooks and pieces of hardware from exiting one compartment and migrating around the box. In other words, if you literally throw this bag around like I do the smaller stuff inside the inner boxes just may find their way to another part of that box. Solution: Don't throw the it around like I do.
2). Its not water resistant at all. If you set it down in water the bottom will get wet. Not an issue until you remove the wet bag and set it down on the seat of your car..... Also, if you're out in rain/spray the entire bag will get wet. Solution: I used Scotch Guard on the bag, problem solved.

I apparently didn't read the dimensions of this product well enough. It is much smaller than I imagined. There is no where to store any long clamps for hook removal. The storage trays are very limited on the size and shape of what you can fit in there.(The rows are all the same with-- no larger compartments in them). And if you remove a tray from the bottom to get to your tackle the bag flops over because there is no support.. I really would not recommend this product especially if you change lures multiple times during your fishing trip. Maybe I can sell it on ebay and get some of my money back.
