Better than Bono's receding hairline; Bell X1 are Ireland's pop rock supremos and their latest single Flame is no exception. With Franzesque guitars, a funky bass line and with a chorus as addictive as crack, Bell X1 reiterate their chameleon like ability to interchange between different styles and produce something original; swinging from Brit-pop to folk to falsetto vocals to camp handclaps, Flame has a little bit of something for everyone like well stocked Morrisons.
This infectious discotheque romp with its slinky guitar could be one of the singles of the year and we're only in February. It seems Christmas has come early!
