Evroklidon manages to exude this primal rawness while maintaining high production standards, skilfully blending atmosphere and furore to produce an assault on the senses that is brutal yet enjoyable to listen to. The result is 6 very long songs that should satisfy any black metal appetite.

This is one of my favorite black metal albums. Period.

The intro to the cd starts with a bell and some wind sounds. You can already feel the grim atmosphere of this cd. The intro continues in true metal fashion, with drums and guitar kicking in.

After the intro, the album grabs you by the throat and does not let go. There are many moments throughout the album that the music is blazing, ripping riffage, pounding drums, and shrieking vocals. Conversely, there are also many moments of beautiful clean guitar. There are even moments of folky guitar and keys.

Overall, this is a fantastic album. If you love black metal with Christ-centered lyrics, this album is for you. At times fast and other times slower, this album is a great listen from beginning to end.
