These battery operated LED flickering pillar candles can be used anywhere you would use a regular pillar candle, and many places you wouldn't. On/off switch on the bottom. The set includes one 6" pillar (3" dia.,takes two AA batteries--battery not icluded,) one 4" pillar (3" dia.,takes two AAA batteries--battery not icluded,) and a 2.5" votive (2" dia., takes lithium battery, 2 batteries ARE icluded for this size candle only.)

These candles are very nice, but you really have to pay attention to the batteries. Even though there are two springs at the bottom of the battery cache, they go in at opposite directions. At first I thought they were broken, but after contacting the company, (who also had to figure this out) I was pleasantly surprised. They have a great glow and flicker, without the danger of a real candle.

Terrific scent, soft but noticeable and gorgeous realistic glow, all with no mess or smoke!

These are more fragile than I expected and are not as well constructed as others for the same price. But they got me through the 2-day blackout so I had to give them 2 stars.
