When i first heard Nocy's music It felt like something magestic. The more I play Nocy's music the more I feel strong positive and happy. It is like listening to the voice of angels. Thank you Nocy.Your music is Pure . God bless.Nadia.

Flames of Spain CD by Nocy has the best guitar playing I have ever heard in long time with a pure classical flamenco jazz blues latin rythym and style of music that we need to listen more often and educate our new generation to listen to it too. It has such a pure different styles of music that makes you feel good and energetic. Just buy it and you will love it. Antoine de Vargas

Flames of Spain would be categorized with New Age or Nuevo Flamenco music, if you could find it in record stores -- and it would be superior to 90 percent of what you'd find in that bin.

For those of you looking for Flamenco Puro, this isn't it. It's wild and rhythmic Nuevo Flamenco with far more of Latin America than Spain. In addition to the guitar, there is bass, percussion, and some vocals. At times the sound runs toward rock or occasionally borders on a funky groove. It's always exuberant--- with that "uncontrolled" beauty that can only be produced by a master of the art.

Although Nocy is a brilliant guitarist, his artistry isn't limited to technical brilliance -- this CD is infused with fire and passion. Several reviewers here report having discovered Nocy in Las Vegas and being amazed at his concert performance. I believe that his concert would be something to treasure and look forward to attending a live performance in the future, but the music comes across very powerfully in this recording, too.

I had never heard of Nocy, or listened to him perform, before buying this CD unheard from Amazon. This is a CD worth taking a chance on -- it's amazing work.

i saw the group NOCY in las vegas. they were much more winging it and therefore much more original and truer to their ideas. on the first album, they were much stiffer and limited as compared to their in person appearances. they were experimenting when they were in las vegas and it showed through their solos.. i love the group especially in person..i have both of their albums and i have written and received a reply from the group when i confronted them on their "freedom" when on stage as opposed to their recordings...

There are but a few classical guitarists in the world who are called masters. Nocy is one of them. Disregard the "music fan from Las Vegas"...he's out to lunch. Nocy's other CD's are equally beautiful (posted on his website...nocymusic.com). His music is from the heart. Pure joy to listen to.

I live here in Las Vegas & also employed with The Bellagio Hotel & Casino.I have had the pleasure of meeting Nocy & his band & they are a bunch of cool guys.I have watched them play Live, countless many times in The Fontana Lounge & also remember watching them play at The Mirage's Lagoon Saloon back in the mid 90's.Not only does Nocy have alot of fury & energy that comes out in his flamenco style of playing but he & the band can also play the most subtle music too!.Get the album & experience the energy!.

I first saw Nocy at the Mirage and later at the Fontana Lounge in Bellagio, each time I was completely blown away. The man is simply amazing. His guitar work is beyond words, never have I seen so much passion and energy emerge from a guitar. If you appreciate the guitar at all, you must own this disc.

I saw Nocy play in Las Vegas and was completely blown away by his taste and technique. Had to go see him the next night and hear more. Immediately bought his album when I got home and have been enjoying it ever since. "Flames of Spain" is a very apt title for an album of this type, it scorches! If you are a fan of Flamenco, this album is a must for your collection. If you love guitar, get it!
