These are just as pretty as the ones that cost twice as much. Flameless candles with timers have become a staple in my decorating year round, and add a special, safe, warm glow to any room. These candles are a relatively inexpensive way to add a special touch to your own decorating, and also make a much-appreciated gift for almost any occasion. Men like them as well! I've given flameless candles as gifts for housewarmings, appreciation parties, bridal showers, weddings, birthdays, and just because. They never fail to please!
Here are some ways I've used them:
*on top of the tall entertainment center,
*inside display cabinets - where you wouldn't wisely put a flame!
*on the dining room table with silver candlesticks
*on the console in the vestibule,
*in every bathroom in the house.
*in the bedroom, with the timer set to turn on at bedtime.
*on windowsills
*on the mantel, obviously
*in sconces
*high plant shelf
*in a tray, surrounded with pinecones and berries
*on top of the upper kitchen cabinets
*in a basket with Easter trimmings
*in a silver bowl with battery light strings with timers, covered with glass gems-the kind that can be put in aquariums
..... hint: stuff the bottom of the bowl with saran wrap to take up some space
*in luminaries down the front walk (if dry weather is guaranteed) or inside.
*in hanging lanterns on the covered patio
*use cool melt glue gun to attach decorative items to the candle. My favorite is Swarovski flatbacks to outline a person's initial. Another cool one is to attach little translucent stickers -such as glittery snowflakes.
I'm sure I could think of more ways I've used these, but you get the idea. At any rate, buy them, have them on hand, and you'll dream up uses that will please you very much.
