Editorial Reviews

Michael Rother (half of the influential Krautrock group Neu! and a founding member of Kraftwerk) recorded this first solo album with producer Conny Plank in 1976. Rother's signature guitar sound, the mechanical percussion (Jaki Liebezeit of Can) and the simple yet otherworldly anthemic melodies make Flammende Herzen an outstanding and visionary record. Reissued on 180 gram vinyl in a high quality tip-on jacket.

Michael Rother is one of the most important guitarist of the last 50 years, I'd say. He really does something different with the instrument. This is a GREAT album and its vinyl format is quite elegant and satisfying. If you like NEU!, you should buy this one right now!
