Editorial Reviews

Belgian Flanders lies in the northern part of the Kingdom of Belgium and consists of five provinces. A perfect opportunity of getting to know this captivating region is to view this film. You will get to know not just the historical monuments, the architecture and art, but also many of the typical products of the region, such as beer, the specialities of the local cuisine, chocolate and braided lace. Also included are the numerous attractions, museums and events held here. Our stroll begins in Brussels. Admiring the extensive center of the city, as well as the royal quarter and the major attractions such as Mini Europe and Atomium. Antwerp is the second largest harbor in Europe and is above all a city of art. Bruges resembles an open air museum where we encounter history at every step. Besides the walk around town you will also see the city's principal attraction, the Procession of the Holy Blood. Another city of art is Ghent. It will captivate you with its triple towers, romantic boat rides, extravagant stores and busy night life. Then we will visit the smaller towns of Mechelen, Leuven, Damme and Ostend.

1.0 out of 5 stars INCORRECT VERSION October 8, 2009
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
I have tried twice to purchase the correct version of the DVD Flanders & Brussels. Both times I received the PAL version which does not work in the US or Canada. I did click on the correct item when I ordered but somehow kept getting the wrong one. The Returns dept. was very pleasant and helpful for me to return the useless DVDs.
It does not deserve the one star I was forced to give it above
