Product Description

Flash Cards for Kids: Animals helps children learn to recognize 81 different animals while helping them with their alphabet and spelling skills.

Children can review words that are new to them, practice with multiple-choice options, or fill in answers directly. The title has two different play modes, each with three levels of difficulty. The first play mode shows a picture of an animal and asks children to learn by identifying the first letter of that animal. The second play mode shows an animal and asks children to spell out its entire name.

To give students timely feedback, correct answers are acknowledged and incorrect answers are corrected immediately upon submitting an answer. A high score table tracks the ten highest scores to help track progress and improvement.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 2 1/2 year old loves this! September 1, 2011

My son loves the pictures (and to be able to push the button). There are some different animals in the cards and they are not the same ones every time. But we guess the animal together and then push the button for the name and we can touch the name and the picture without wearing them out! He also likes to do it because he sees me read my kindle and he wants to "read" it too....it is something we do together using mommy's magic book. We haven't done the spelling yet but I am sure it will entertain my 8 year old niece when she visits.

5.0 out of 5 stars 7yr old loves it September 10, 2011

I downloaded this item to my Kindle to utilize as a distraction for my son at appointments but it quickly turned into "learn something" before bedtime. He really enjoys the format and the easy way the difficulty can be set to challenge him. I have downloaded as many of the other Flashcards too.

I used this with my three year old grandson. A little over his head at times, but he was receptive to learning and seemed to enjoy saying the name of the animal. I think I lost interest before he did. Good game for teaching beginning letter sounds.

3.0 out of 5 stars Flash Cards for Kids November 6, 2012

My granddaughter is too young to play this game but it should be good for my grandson when I get to see him. He is just the right age to start reading and associating the pictures.
