Editorial Reviews

Review

Published reviews of current edition:

"If you are looking into how to create online games and getting a better understanding of the powerful language that Actionscript is, you could do a lot worse than this book. The examples and explanations are clear and thorough... Nik does a good job of keeping the pace upbeat and making the reader feel involved... for those people who are interested in how to make games and how to improve their coding, it is a worthwhile investment."

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommeded To All Flash Users, February 14, 2006
This review is from: Flash MX 2004 Games: Art to ActionScript (Paperback)
I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of information offered in this book. It is well written, liberally illustrated. This is one of the best book on Flash MX 2004 which I have find for so long. The simple explanations and pratical uses deserve applause. The examples are set out into easy-to-follow, step-by-step procedures. This means you'll never be left wondering. Thank you Nik for his patience and guidance when I write him for the problems which I meet when using the book.
