This is a nice compact unit that comes in 2 pieces. It folds flat inside a carrying case - so it doesn't take up much room in my camera bag - A Big Bonus! It's also easy to use...the bracket slips into the hotshoe and then you connect the diffuser to the hotshoe via Velcro. As for performance, I was pretty impressed. Sure, it doesn't come near to the performance of a full-fledged bounce flash setup, but at 1/10th the price, this $20 gadget it does quite good. I don't have to slow down my shutter speed, which is a big bonus. I took some photos of my rabbits and I am happy to report no red eye problems as well as no harsh shadows. This was an easy addition to my camera tricks that didn't cost me a lot of money and just gave me better photos.

I think it is great for the price. I use it on a cannon 40D, comes on and off easily. Will fold flat for storage, but is durable enough to put in camera bag on camera for quick moves. Great for slice of life photos on the go.

I thought I would take a chance on this even though there were no other reviews for it. What a mistake. It arrived and the outer box looked great but when I opened it the inner box that the seller had it in was taped and obviously opened. I can only assume that this was a used product. I decided to try it out anyway and see if it worked. THERE WAS ABSOULTELY NO DIFFERENCE in the pictures I took with the 'thing' on as with the 'thing' off. This product has no affect on the flash whatsoever and is just a piece of junk.
