This review is from: Flashback: The Quest for Identity (Video Game)
Flashback is a really great game. It combines action/adventure, side-scrolling platform jumping, and some puzzle elements. The graphics were very advanced and unique for its time. The soundtrack is quite good. The controls are difficult at first but you get the hang of it after a while. Make sure you look up the controls online if you don't have an instruction book because you probably won't figure it out on your own. This game is not for everyone, but I really enjoyed it back in the day and recently played it again and it was just as good as I remembered. It is very similar in look and gameplay mechanics to Blackthorne. Also, if you've ever played Out of This World, it was made by the same company, though I must say Flashback is far superior. This is one of my favorite games for the SNES and I hope more people who haven't played it before will find it and enjoy it as much as I have.
