Editorial Reviews

Review

Flashes in the River is the first volume in a projected 'images' series pairs Gray's essays with Shilstone's watercolors of fly fishing: the result being a fine first-person "you are there" experiential text which displays both art and fly fishing lore and wonder. Excellent images abound throughout Flashes in the River. -- Midwest Book Review
