The great news is that it fits perfectly into the clip light with room for the 4 CFLs.

My garage only had two single bulb outlets.. very very little light for 440sq ft'.

I purchased two of these and then went and got 23watt CFL's 5k. I now have roughly 12,000+ lumens in my garage...

This was JUST the perfect thing that I didn't have to install new fixtures or call an electrician to wire up more lights.

These felt very solid to me.. there is another product on Amazon and people complain about it feeling cheap and or not working.

All 4 sockets work with mine and there is some weight to these. Make sure your fixture can handle the weight of this plus 4 bulbs..

Overall this has transformed my garage from something that you could hardly see to something that looks like the sun is above your head... EXCELLENT!!

A+ on these. I will try and edit this with a review a couple months with some pictures of my setup.

-Nigel

These are decent. I had them hooked up to a one socket cowboy studio premium light holder with umbrella bracket and it broke off the inside piece of the light holder. I wouldn't use these to beef up your photography light kit. I would however use them with a typical clamp light pulled back from your subject in conjunction with other lights. If you are looking to use these for a diy photography light kit and put them on a stand don't bother get these.....

KAEZI TRIPLE TRI 3 FLASH STUDIO BULB HOLDER w Umbrella Bracket

If you are looking for an extra backup and you're going to hook them up to a very well made light socket this could work. And I am sure you could build some sort of diy light box with these which would be awesome. It really depends on how you use them. Putting 4 bulbs in and screwing it into a socket, your going want a strong feeling socket, otherwise the weight is too much.

The garage was always dim, no matter what wattage bulb we used, so we purchased this adapter and used four fluorescent bulbs. When the fluorescent bulbs make their way to 100%, it's as bright as Heaven in there. This was a good purchase.

I replaced a single 100 watt incandescent bulb in a large closet with this adapter and four 9.5 watt LED bulbs (CREE warm white 60 watt equivalent--highly recommended).

Now the closet is nicely illuminated with more than twice the lumens, but using 60% less energy.

Pattern Name: 4 Socket Adapter
This 4-socket multiplier has radically improved my overhead lighting scheme in my home. In the past, I've switch all my lights to high-efficiency LED's that emit light in the 5000K - 6000K range. On occasion, I've found that in order to provide adequate lighting, I must use a bulb that is very bright. This has been known to include the unfortunate consequence of having a light that is difficult to look at or work around, despite the superior quality of light. Recently, I managed to find an ultra low-wattage bulb that provides excellent source of light, and is easy to look at, however it failed to deliver the necessary illumination for its purpose. Finally, I ordered this multivectored 4-socket multiplier to enhance the spot lighting I needed. The effects were extremely positive, and at only 12 watts, it's a beautiful looking, and beautiful functioning installment. I highly recommend this device to anyone who wishes to expand the lighting range and magnitude of a light bulb, but doesn't wish to rewire from an existing outlet or socket. I used this as a component in my DIY light box. Very sturdy if a bit heavy for the foam core. Regardless, I am pleased with the results and as long as I don't bang the box around, I expect the whole thing to last a long time.

I rent and my garage is lit by who poorly placed sockets. If it was my house I'd rewire the whole things and light up the garage properly. This did a great job of adding a lot of light. I use four 6500K (daylight bulbs) 20W and I know have the light I need to complete any task in my garage when working on cars and such.

The adapter works as promised, but be careful when handling it after it's plugged up. IT WILL BITE! I only had to be shocked once to know to keep my hands off of it when it's plugged in. Since it shocked me, I made sure there was no way for the adapter to ground out against surrounding material.
