I use the S-blade mostly so I prefer this lid as it is easier to clean than the lid with the shoot. I save that lid for when I am going to slice or grate. I have had my processor many years and it works as great as the day I bought it!

Been struggling with the original, multi piece top to my Cuisinart food processor. It doesn't fit in my cabinet with the top on. Hard to open and close, pieces must be aligned properly. THEN, ordered this flat top work bowl cover. HEAVEN. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. LOVE IT!

got this top as an alternative to the feeder tube top. as long as you aren't shredding or slicing, this makes it much easier to use.
