5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, September 29, 2010

Perfect fit and so much easier to use for processing/kneading with the metal or plastic blade than the original bulky cover. I'm using my food processor a lot more often now.

CAUTION: The hideous red label can be a royal pain to remove without damaging the plastic. Don't use any kind of solvent (e.g., Goo Gone) because you'll wind up having to order a new cover. Oh, yes, believe you me. Sigh. Anyway, what worked for me: soak the lid in hot water first, to remove as much of the paper as possible. Then dry well, coat with oil (I used vegetable oil) and allow it to sit overnight. Now you should be able to wipe off the oil and the dissolved glue.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cuisinart Must, May 6, 2010

If you have a Cuisinart food processor, this cover is a must. I really like using it in place of the bulky cover with the shoot. For making dressings, mixing and chopping, this is the better cover. The small covered drophole makes adding liquids fast and easy without having to stop the machine, and clean up is easier and faster as well. I use this one much more the the included shoot feeder cover. I highly recommend this piece!

Terrific product. I have been fighting with my "large pusher sleeve assembly" for years now. I found that I was actually avoiding using my Cuisinart because of the lid and all of the steps I had to go through to get it to function correctly. Finally I decided to find an alternative lid that was easy to use and easy to clean. This lid is awesome on all fronts. And there is still a removable cap for times you may want to pour anything in while processing. I've probably used my Cuisinart more times in the past 6 weeks than I did in the whole 3 months prior.
