GERRY ROACH was the second person to climb the highest peak on each of the seven continents. He has climbed actively around the world for six decades, and has been on 35 major expeditions. In 2000 he became the first person to climb North America's ten highest peaks. He lives in Boulder.

More About the Author

Gerry Roach started climbing in Colorado in 1955. Among his numerous accomplishments, Gerry is the second person ever to climb the highest peak on each of the seven continents. In more than 40 years of mountaineering, he has climbed in dozens of states and countries. Gerry has authored the five books from Fulcrum Publishing listed below, including his newest, Colorado's Thirteeners and Colorado's Lost Creek Wilderness. Both are coauthored with Jennifer Roach. Gerry and Jennifer live in Boulder, Colorado.
