My son is a sport and racing video game fan. He had never heard of Flatout but I talked him into spending his money on it (instead of something with a low Amazon rating) because of the positive reviews here. Just the other day he told me "Wow mom, you were right about this game."

He likes the fact that there are derby's, stunts, grand prix, and races all in a single game. He likes how you can wreck other people and race three different cars. He just thinks it is a great PSP racing game. I think its a great value for such low the price.

This is the most fun I've had playing a PSP game. Total destruction! The school bus is my favorite vehicle.

In general, I'm not a fan of racing games on PSP because it's too hard to see the road. Not the case with this game. It's still not perfect, but much easier to see than others, ie Need for Speed.

Basically, I just can't recommend this game enough.

I came across this title browsing for new games for my PSP. I've never heard of Flatout or seen it in stores for the PSP ( I have the PC version) so I was surpised when I came across it. I really can't believe how good this game is. Everything from the graphics, special effects, gameplay, and sound are truly top notch and polished. It is a very fun game to play and keeps you hooked. I'm amazed at the content this game has. It has a ton of cars, upgrades, tracks, events, and mini games to mess with. The races are challenging but also very entertaining. It also can be quite hilarious at times and tends to give me some good laughs. I cannot recommend this game enough if your into racing games. The crash effects are awesome, the tracks are very detailed with a ton of shortcuts and alleys to take during races. The demolition derbies are a blast! I recently played the "Bowling" event and couldn't stop laughing. This truly is a great title and definitley worth a 5 out of 5 rating. Just buy the game its a steel at the price you can get it for.

Like the title said, this game is just awesome. The physics are great, the cars are sweet and some of the races are just flatout hysterical (see what I did there?). This has to be one of my favorite PSP games!

This is a very good and nice game! graphics are cool!!! you will not regret buying it. The only part i don't like, is that the cars are terrible to make turns, evry single turn you do it as slow as possible, but the car will slip the back. But in time you get control of it. This is not a regret game.

I have the x box 360 version and its exactly the same and its really awesome. The game play is excellent controls are perfect. Just start out with the derby class truck. One of the coolest racing games bar none. One of the funniest psp game to have. Fast loads and superb graphics great mini games superior fun

I had the demo for the psp for about a year and would have spans of time I would play the demo over and over for a few days. I always kept a eye out for it at any gamestop, but finally decided to purchase it online. I earned a high score on the canal race I finally get to keep :) The rest of the game is decent, I enjoy the carnage races alot. I'm not a traditional race gamer, but the bashing and crashing is very satisfying. I would recommend if your a gamer that likes racing, also if your a gamer that likes face paced racing that requires you to smash stuff for points while listening to intense music!(have a mp3 handy)

I bought this game for my 10yr old stepson for christmas for his psp. He loves to play any car game & is very, very good at them. I can't beat him at any car games!! Well, he has NOT STOPPED PLAYING THIS GAME SINCE CHRISTMAS DAY!!!! I even bought him WWE vs. RAW 2010 for his psp for christmas & he has not even played it yet & he begged for it!! I'm not sure what it is about the Flatout: Head On game is so great, but he can't set it down. I would recommend this game for any parent that has a child that loves car video games.

When I first played flatout, it was on the PC. I was surprised at the physics of the cars falling apart after they hit obstacles and other cars on the race track. The crazy take on 'shot through the windshield' was also very unorthodox in racing games I had played. I heard the 3rd Flatout was translated over to the PSP and thought I'd give it a shot. What I found I liked a lot. Driving your car through forested environments driving under parked logging trucks was just as much exhilarating as on the PC. If you have played the other verisions of flatout, or are looking for a different take on a popular genre. Give flatout a shot.
