Jan Maizler contributes 30+ years of real flats fishing knowledge to your library with this concise and thorough handbook. Although I recommend all my customers read the book prior to their guided fishing experience; I, myself, keep it handy for reference. There's no fluff here, just solid information for the beginner to the professional.

This book is perfect for the angler who is looking to learn the techniques of fishing the flats. Flats fishing is a skillful discipline that requires a knowledge of how, when, and where it should be enjoyed. Mr. Maizler has provided that knowledge in Flats Fishing II. He is thorough and articulate. For both, entry level and experienced anglers, this book is a must.

Very basic and not very specific. Author sounded like he was writing a book as opposed to giving tips to a friend.

I think this would be a very good book for anyone that had no exposure to flats fishing in their past. However, for anyone that has evan a basic knowledge of fishing in these areas, I feel that the book is too elementary and of very little benefit.

This book provides enormous teaching to make a great flats fiherman of me!
