Being a cotton candy fanatic, I often get cravings for the sweet stuff when it's not fair season. I've tried a good many different brands & I have to say that I've only tasted two that come close to what it's like in the fair. One is a brand that was sold in my local video store years ago & has since been dropped by them. The other is Flava Puff.

Flava Puff's two toned cotton candy is pretty darn good & you get a good deal of it for the price. The price offered here on amazon (about $33 at the time of this review) is actually cheaper than my local supermarket that has it at $3-4 per tub.

I will say that despite the two different colors, I can only really detect one flavor which is the typical flavor of cotton candy that you would get in a fair. That's not a bad thing, though as I don't really like most of the flavored brands that are out there. (Too strong of a flavor!) The other thing that I must warn people about is that the tub is packed pretty darn full, so if you like your cotton candy extremely fluffy then you'll have to pretty much "fluff" it once you pull it out of the tub. It's not mashed in, so you won't have to "fluff" very much. The manufacturers wisely decided to go with quantity & give you your money's worth, which is more than some of the other brands can say. (I saw one package that was priced at $2 & had maybe 1/4th of the contents of one of these tubs.

You get lots of cotton candy in those tubs;the seller ships very fast and has excellant customer service.I can highly reccomend the product and the seller.

I've purchased this same Cotton Candy at stores before, and the taste is very good. It's pretty fresh for being pre packaged, although not the exact same as fresh from the carnival. Overall its great for those sweet cravings.

This is my first time writting a review on Amazon although I have made many purchases from the site. However, I found it necessary to write a review for this product because I believe it is such an excellent purchase. First off, the buckets are one of the biggest I've seen that is available for purchase. Therefore, it can be shared or be personally used for anywhere from 1-3 days. It is great to snack on while watching TV. Also, the value of this product is incredible, because they pack in 5-6 thick layers in the bucket. Finally, as other reviews have claimed, this is the closest you can get to fresh made carnival/boardwalk cotton candy on the market. By far my most bang-for-your-buck, satisfying buy from a long list of Amazon purchases.

good flavor and fluffy. Just what your sweet tooth needs. The only problem was the taste. I went through it to fast.

I agree with the others who say the Flava Puff tastes like the cotton candy you get at the fair. It is so, so so good and fluffy. 12 tubs is a lot though, it was just me eating it and after the 3rd tub I wasn't quite sure what to do with the remaining 9. Each tub is pretty big and it doesn't keep forever, even if you don't open the tub the cotton candy shrinks down and gets dense & hard after a few months. So I probably won't buy this size tub again in a 12 pack unless I find someone to split the 12 pack with. I think if you were having a birthday party for your child, this stuff would be awesome to have on hand.

Just as you remember it. Colorful, delicious and plentiful cotton candy. Lots, as many as six servings per bucket (container) or nibble little by little yourself through watching a whole movie. A relatively inexpensive and fat-free treat. Keep a napkin handy for sticky fingers.
I found it has a long shelf-life. Mine stayed fresh for at least two months.
I was surprised to find different colors like a rainbow effect all layered in the same re-usable plastic container.
We will be ordering this item again.

I have tried a few different cotton candy brands and find that Flava Puff is the one that TASTES the most like cotton candy one would buy at a fair. Cotton Candy taste is what it is all about, no? All the others I have tried (Charms, etc.)taste like strawberry or blueberry, and have a dense texture resulting in the cotton not melting in your mouth. The idea is to leave as little trace of anything but taste. With other brands I have tried one is left with a mass of granulated sugar in your mouth to chew or swallow. Flava Puff melts in your mouth, as long as you don't stuff too much in your mouth at one time. Great stuff.

Taste just fine, no problem with the shipping, it arrived on the exact date it was estimated to arrive on. The colors were blue and pink, and it tasted like standard sugar cotton candy, no weird fruit or bubblegum flavors.
