I had a Flavia machine at work, the vending model (small table top) and it made the best single cup coffee ever. Better than brewing a pot of coffee. I used to drink the Sumatra blend. It was fantastic. They level the strength 1 to 5, on the pouches its is pretty accurate. The tea is great the hot chocolate is enjoyable. This machine blows the Keurig out of the water. There is no comparison, in my eyes what so ever.
The pouches are high pressure, there is no run off like the Keurig (Keurig drips clear water from machine into coffee mug), all of the water is forced through the coffee. This is why you get an amazing cup of coffee every single time. It is fast, no clean up. The only disadvantage is they don't offer a filter like Keurig does. At least they didn't when I used it. If I am going to pay extra for coffee (as you do with k-cups)for convenience this is the way I would of gone. The coffee is 100% perfect, you get what you pay for and in this case that's a great thing. The pouches are also easier to store in my opinion than the k-cups in those huge boxes, I used to store them in my desk drawer.
I own the Keurig now. It is fast and efficient, you can brew single cups with filter or k-cups. The Keurig has never put out a high quality cup of coffee, it is good for what it is, fast coffee with no clean up. I don't think the quality of the coffee (K-cups) is equal to its high price as you only pay for the convenience of the machine and you end up with a bland watered down coffee.
The machine I had at work was a small vending one. I didn't think they sold them for home use. I just learned they sold these things for home use. I wish I would have know because I would of bought on.
Do yourself a favor. Buy this machine if you want a great cup of coffee anytime, this is better than brewing a pot. I swear by it.

We rec. our machine yesterday and so far have made coffee, hot choco, and, tea. I am more of a tea drinker and my hubby loves coffee. I love the ease of use of this machine. The coffee is good and strong. I guess you can make it less strong but the machine works great. Just as advertised. The wellness teas are great. White tea w/ orange, green tea w/ jasmine, exotic chia(cinnamon,clove),yum. The green tea is great to help w/ the afternoon munchie period. Like I said the machine works great for all size cups and mugs. No messy cleanup and I like the two pack option, coffee, tea or choco and then the specialty whips. We already have hot water in our kitchen so I have not used that part, however, you do have to remove the charcole filter to use the hot water dispenser, but, that is also very, very easy to do and then just stick it back in when you are done with that option. It is thin and long from front to back so I just turn ours sideways on the counter and it fits nicely against the backboard to give more room on the counter. Easy water dispenser removal, fill, and return. Would recommend. So far...hopefully no updates will be needed. More reviews on [...]. Some reviews said that it vibrates...have not had that problem.

I bought this directly from Flavia and it was replaced twice. This is the second machine I recive and I have experience the same problem, namely water leakage from the tank. The leakage occurs were the tank has two holes for the water level indicators. There are two small silicone washers that obviously are not doing their job and allow water to leak. The pump vibration obviously contributes to this, but I believe this is a serious design flaw and I expect this to be a common problem for many. The mechanism that closes the door and pierces the coffee pouches also appears weak and probably wont last very long. Also, the maximum water amount that can be dispensed is still not enough to fill a regular size mug. So, I would not recommend this model if you don't like water on your counters and drink mug-sized beverages.

Disappointment
We really did not like this machine or, more specifically, the coffee. The taste was just not good so we returned the machine and threw away $100 worth of coffee packets. Read more
