Zakiya Hooker is the daughter of John Lee Hooker. Her brand of blues is not the guitar dominated boogie style of her father but more a jazzy style of blues. It IS good music and well done and while she may never be the best known blues artist in the family, she does have talent. One thing her did always was - prolific and so far, his daugther has not been that.
