5.0 out of 5 stars A Tribute To The Art of the Flea
McCree discusses it all, from flea-typecasting to flea enterprise. One of the best written books on flea markets - ever! This little book is a goldmine that packs a punch replete with valuable tips and tricks-o-the-trade for sellers, sleuths and professional fleas. It's a real tribute to the art of the flea market and an absolute must for flea devotees.

1.0 out of 5 stars This book is a joke
This book is a total waste of money. I have been in the business for while and thought I could get some new tips from this book, but all this book is about her a day in the life of Cree. She interviews some vendors and talks about what she sells (used clothes)and that's it. Most of her advice is not even practical for today's flea adventures. I have not been to one flea...

Cree certainly knows how to find the needle in any haystack of flea markets. Her advice on hunting not only prevents time from being wasted, but also helps keep money in our pockets for the truely best finds. I was rolling with laughter from reading this book all the way to the bank!

I saw Ms. McCree interviewed on CNBC and immediately purchased her book. If you have ever entertained the idea of becoming a flea market entrepeneur, then you must read this book. It is an essential guide. Her knowledge is transferrable to everywhere in the USA. Go forth and be profitable!

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Flea Market America: The Complete Guide to Flea Enterprise (Paperback)
This book is a total waste of money. I have been in the business for while and thought I could get some new tips from this book, but all this book is about her a day in the life of Cree. She interviews some vendors and talks about what she sells (used clothes)and that's it. Most of her advice is not even practical for today's flea adventures. I have not been to one flea market that I could just walk up and start setting up and she gives you the feeling that she is doing just that. She also talks a lot about her and her husband setting up as vendors at a certain market and while he is working it she is out buying stuff to re sell. At the same flea market?? are you kidding me?? First, what kind of backstabber are you to go buy from your fellow vendors just to put it in your booth mark it up and sell it again?? and how many of us vendors can even find a another vendor that sells exactly what we sell? Her advice is just not practical or even reasonable. Her and her husband live like gypsy instead of like it's a business.
I wish I had never bought this book. It was a total was of money and I was very disappointed.
