5.0 out of 5 stars The Fledgling Author, February 18, 2005

This review is from: The Fledgling Author's Handbook (Paperback)
Take a journey with the author as he shows you how he plowed through barriers, real and imagined, on his way to being a published and respected writer.

Can't find an agent? Can't find a publishing house?
Michael gives you step by step instruction on getting past these problems and more, sometimes in absolutely innovative ways. And it's put together in a logical and well written, easy to read manner.

I'm a published author with a regular ongoing newspaper column thanks to this book.

If wore a hat, I would tip it to Michael Reisig.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you, Michael Reisig!, March 11, 2001

This review is from: The Fledgling Author's Handbook (Paperback)
Get this book and keep it handy. Unselfish is the first word that came to my mind when I read this enormously informative book written solely for fledgling authors. Unlike many in this highly competitive world, Michael Reisig generously shares his acquired knowledge in this field, and he spices it up with a little comedy and cleverly recurring references to The Wizard of Oz. My writing career just jumped from the back burner to the front. Since reading this wonderful book, I am permeated with enthusiasm and motivation with many good leads and ideas. Thank you, Michael Reisig!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hats Off To Reisig!, January 20, 2001

This review is from: The Fledgling Author's Handbook (Paperback)
I stumbled across this book by accident and bought it out of curiousity. The Fledgling Author's Handbook may likely be the most important investment of my literary career! The content of the book provides valuable insight into the publishing industry and offers practical, step by step instruction on self-publishing. Many new author's such as myself have/will send out a dozen or more inquiries and then sit at home wringing our hands, hoping we get a bite. The Fledgling Author's Handbook explains how the new author can bypass all of that and still be successful. I'm sold!
