We don't get much cold weather where I live, but on those chilly nights from the 30's to the 50's, he loves it.

The heating pad size is 19" X 13". I didn't see this in the description listed at the time of sale, so I am posting it. Very pleased with the size and quality, and my cats are enjoying it as well.

We used a snuggie and blankets during the fall, but the plastic got cold by early morning, when the outside temperature was at its lowest. We needed an upgrade for the cold season. The kitty was initially shy and slept somewhere else the first night, because the texture of the cover was new to him (and maybe the pad squeaked a little). I placed him several times on the pad the next day, and he got the hang of it, and now he sleeps in his house all the time. He is warm all over when he gets out of the house, although it gets very cold around here (even -4F).

I was expecting a cover similar to what came with my cat's heat pad. I expected a thin faux fleece cover with elastic on the corners. I wasn't happy about the price, but needed a back up cover. What I got was so much nicer!! It is a fleece cover with a complete back and zipper closure. It will cover the head pad completely and zip up to the cord. Definately worth the price. By the way, I have two of these heat pads, one is outside in a little house for my outdoor kitty, and one is inside for my indoor kitty. Both cats love their pads. Keeps them warm in our Ohio winters.

HAVE BEEN USING K-H PADS FOR FIVE YEARS NOW. I HAVE EIGHT OF THEM IN DIFFERENT CLIMBERS FOR MY NINE CATS. ALL OF THEM HAVE BEEN FLAWLESS IN THEIR PERFORMANCE. I'M NOT REALLY THE ONE TO JUDGE: THE CATS LOVE THEM AND THEY ARE IN USE CONSTANTLY. YOU CAN'T MAKE A CAT LIKE ANYTHING IT DOESN'T WANT TO. KUDOS TO K-H FOR A SUPERIOR PRODUCT AT A GREAT PRICE.

This is a fine product and it covers the heat pad well. The elastic straps that hook over each corner are nice. However, it is thin, and, as pictured, it has no sides. Since this is for a cat which will be outdoors full-time in mid-Atlantic winters, I chose to place her cat bed on top of the pad instead. The bed has edges to help hold in heat on the cat's sides, and it is not too thick on the bottom. If this was for indoor or occasional outdoor use, it would have been fine.

My cat is a knucklehead, won't lay on it or anything else that will keep him warm even though it puts out generous warmth!

Our cat is in seventh heaven, the new kitty pads fit perfect and are clean and soft, we had washed our old pads for several years and decided to get new ones this time, so probably every three years would be a good time. Ordered through Amazon and received pads in record time.

Not too much to review, these covers are designed to fit the warmer, do a nice job and are well made, designed to, and do last!
