4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent overview of the Fletcher class destroyer, July 12, 1998
This review is from: Fletcher DDs (US Destroyers) in action - Warships No. 8 (Paperback)
"Fletcher DDs in action" provides a good source of information on the Fletcher class destroyer. This softcover book is filled with many black and white photos of various DDs in service, as well as a dozen or so line drawings of the weapons systems mounted over the Fletchers' naval career.

The book tells the history of the Fletcher and includes a chronological narative of battles seen by Fletchers. Ships' names are given with the respect to naval engagements.

For those considering crafting a model of the Fletcher or her sisters, this book provides an excellent resource for all modifications made during it's naval career. For those interested in a source of her naval history, this book will not disappoint.
