The FlexStand will provide you with unparalleled flexibility and choice when positioning your webcam. Today's webcams are feather-light and keeping them pointing in the right direction can be a hassle. The FlexStand provides a stable, flexible way for you manage your webcam.

The FlexStand is composed of an adjustable clamp that can be attached to the edge of any flat surface up to three inches thick, a one-foot post, and a two-foot flexible arm with the platform for your webcam. The included post raises the arm vertically one foot and the flexible arm extends the platform two feet in any direction. Velcro® cable ties and cable clips are included to run the webcam wire neatly down the flexible arm and post, effectively controlling the webcam and wire. The FlexStand will support cams that weigh up to 8oz.

The FlexStand is shipped with the following:
Two-foot flexible arm with web cam platform
One-foot post
Base and clamp set for attaching to a flat surface
One Tripod screw
Two Tripod screw washers
One Piece of 1" x 1" Velcro® (hook & loop) with adhesive for webcams without a tripod mount
Four Velcro® cable ties
Three cable clips for the flexible arm. Two cable clips for the post.

After fighting with the current stand on my Quickcam pro 3000 and the hours of frustration caused by it moving, wobbling or generally looking the other way I decided it was time to look for a new stand or tripod. As I currently own a TFT flat panel monitor I had already resigned to the fact that I wasn't going to be able to mount the camera on top of it - but hang on , whats this I found on the web?, Flexstand - looks interesting I thought so I ordered one.
Now I have this bendy contraption attached to my desk behind the TFT monitor and it peeks over the top with the camera firmly attached and I'm wondering how on earth I managed without it, its so simple but brilliantly effective - If you have a webcam and a TFT monitor or very little desk space or just cant get the camera at the right angle then the Flexstand is the answer to your prayers.
The flexstand trully is my hero!

Am an avid webcam user and now of the FlexStand. It has solved loads of problems for me. My cam now stays where I put it, the wire is out of the way and I can easily swing the cam away when I'm not using it. Although there are some quirks, following the included instructions gets you over them quickly. I highly recommend the FlexStand for all webcam users. I dont know what took so long for a product like this to be made. Check out the picture I uploaded to "Customer Images"

I recently purchased a new LCD monitor and Quick Cam Pro 4000. The monitor and camera worked great with the exception of the camera angle. The camera could not be mounted on top of the monitor because there was not a place for it to sit. Therefore the camera had to rest on the desk which gave a camera angle from low to high. The problem with this camera angle is that you may appear to have a double chin (even if you don't) and you may also have a great view of your ceiling. This product was a great solution because now the camera can rest at many angles and is adjusted easily for that perfect picture. Thanks!
