I ordered this based on many of the reviews. When I got it, I was very excited to be able to use it as often as possible, who wouldn't want to look slimmer?!? Well, I immediately tear it open when I realize that the hooks are on the front. Okay no problem, put it on it can't look that bad. So yes, it can look bad, with form fitting shirts/blouses, the very ones that I would like to be slimmer/smoother looking in. You will definitely see the hook and eye rib, through the shirt. SERIOUSLY? BOO! I learned a valuable lesson, zoom in on the pictures and be on the look out on how it comes together.

I always wanted to try a product of this type, and this had all the features I was looking for: Good length....past the waist, soft but firm fabric and easy to snap into...and still hides back rolls. I can wear my own bra. My bust size and midriff size are too different to find sized in one garment. As long as I don't wear a top that's low cut in the back, it looks great under clothes.

I purchased this item after a medical procedure and while it was comfortable, it didn't compress my abdomen area as it promotes. Also, the smallest size available is a Medium, which would explain why it didn't compress the areas that I expected it to. Overall, it does smoothen the back area, but it's very soft on the abdomen area not necessarily slimming it as it states.

After trying high waist gurtles fora while I found that there was alway a pocket of fat on my back that would always poke out. A friend reccomened that I buy one of these waist cinching high back gurtles to help with that. I am so happy I did!!!!! This is great It holds in my stomach and it smooths out my back it even gave me a noticable waist which I did not have before. It is comfortable and I can wear it all day without any problems It is long enought that I don't have a bulge around my waist.

To make things better this is half the price of other products on amazon!

I like the way this works, and I find it pretty comfortable to wear for longer periods of time, although at the end of a full day, the area around the arms might be a tad sore depending on adjustment. My major complaint with this is that it isn't long enough-- I have a long torso and I'm tall and I have yet to find a long enough waistnipper. That means this is a chronic offender in rolling up during the day, especially with changes of position, movement like walking, bending, etc. The other issues I have with this relate to how it wears under clothing. Under sheer fabrics, the garment creates a line down the front at the hook and eye, and in the back, one can see where the straps are if they dig in at all. I solve this issue by wearing a cami with it.

I decided to keep it but it will roll up on you. If used with a girdle you can tuck it in it or some tight jeans then it will work better. Needs to be longer. I recommend going up at least one to two sizes if you have a bigger bottom than most that may keep it from rolling up also.

I am 35 years old and 5'2" and wear a 36DD!! I've never seen anything like this until I was browsing on amazon. Maybe I'm a dinosaur?!!! Anyway, as soon as I put it on the first time I noticed a difference in my posture. The only thing is where the plastic clip for the adjustable strap lies on me is uncomfortable. Maybe I'll try a small handkerchief or tissue behind it?

I bougth becuase I had a baby and wanted to slim a little my abdomen. It's not all that doesn't cover all the bulges. Also is not convinient for traveling becuase I would not pass the metal detector. I had to take it off and travel. This was a huge inconvinience due that I wanted to appear alittle slimmer. It was a huge embarrassment that I had to tell the guard that I had a girdle that had some metal hooks. Would not recomend this product is not as a descreet as they claim to be.

This product was as described. The only problem would be that the straps were too short for me. Otherwise, great for the back and stomach.

It rides too high under the bust, so it's very uncomfortable. Also too long so it squishes the top of one's backside, making a dent. The support is very firm, as advertised. It might be more comfortable to order one size larger than normal. I ordered a medium, and I'm 5' 4 1/2" tall, 128 lbs. Medium was too tight. The front hooks are very easy to attach though, and the fabric is very high quality.
