4.0 out of 5 stars Works under a strapless dress
I bought this to wear under my wedding dress. It's hard to tell from the pictures and description, but this DOES work under a strapless dress. It doesn't show, and my dress hit below shoulder blade level. Not the most comfortable thing ever, and it's short, so it tends to ride up, which is the only downside. Fits true to size, I'd say. All in all, good product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good buy
I bought this to wear under seethrough skirts and shirts, and it works terrific for that purpose! It does slip up like 4in when I sit or climb stairs but the body curves keep it in good place, so it's not like it slips and everyone can see everything! But I do go to the bathroom to pull it back down every couple of hours just in case. I wear it with the straps so I don't...

I wear it with the straps so I don't know if it slips down from the bust. If you're looking for a corset-type effect this is not the thing for you. While it's very tight and form-fitting and keeps everything in place, it doesn't really shrink the stomach. The fabric is really good, but if you want a tummy tucker you probably need something with vertical wires around the waist.
Side note, it has 3 hooks in the back for closing, and it is quite a struggle to hook it yourself, so get help, or skill.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not good for full figured women, May 21, 2009
Flexees Women's Firm Control Strapless Slip with Convertible Straps #3741

I really had high hopes for this, I love Flexees but this one is a huge disappointment. I wore it under a summer dress and the bottom kept scooting up and the top sits lower than what I would have liked. The worst part was that any give in the fabric works it's way right to your stomach so there was very little control there. It made my stomach look bigger than what I am - I was so uncomfortable. I think they have a few issues going on with this product. 1) Sizing is off. 2) Does not control like stated (in my case - made it worse). I'm fine with the rest of their products, I absolutely love Maidenform and the Flexee line but this was a disaster! The problem size for me was 36C, in case anyone was wondering.

3.0 out of 5 stars using strapless is tough, February 15, 2008

I wore this with a strapless wedding gown and it shifted a bit on the top and the bottom throughout the day. If you can wear it with the straps it would probably work much better. Also if you have a bit more on the top than the average girl (36C+)you might experience the constant shifting as i did. I figured it would be like that. Otherwise the rest of it was very comfortable and helped smooth out my curves

5.0 out of 5 stars functional undergarmet, August 28, 2007

I purchased this to wear under strapless dresses (including my wedding dress) and have worn it several times. It seems to work pretty well. The garmet is a little on the short side, which makes it ride up a little with movement (sitting and standing, dancing, etc.). For the price, I'd recommend it, especially to those who don't plan on wearing it a whole lot.

2.0 out of 5 stars control slip, October 2, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I don't like this product at all. It rides up and you are constantly tugging at it to get it back where it belongs. If you are siting and then have to get up, it rides up and can be seen under the clothing. Don't buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy, October 27, 2011

I love this item, esp due to the bulit in bra...it's also great because it has no wires that can be seen under garments. This was a great purchase!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great slip, August 10, 2011

This works well as a slip. It slightly holds you in but not too tight. I bought this to wear under a white dress. It did it purpose.

2.0 out of 5 stars Does not hold in the tummy, July 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Flexees Women's Firm Control Strapless Slip with Convertible Straps #3741 (Apparel)
i bought this for a special occasion to wear a certain dress. This does not do what it claims. The top stays up nice but there is no control of the stomach. If you need control shop else where.

4.0 out of 5 stars pretty good, December 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The product worked pretty well, actually "removed" 1.5 inches from my waist, confirmed by tape mesure. It did ride up a little so be prepared to visit the ladies room a couple times during the evening to but stuff back where it belongs. I used it strapless too and it stayed up pretty well.
