This is the best USB light I have owned yet. Now, Ive only had it for two weeks, so I can't talk about longevity. But, what I do know, is that it has a long neck, so it is high enough not to be in the way. It has three, very bright, but not "here I am, i'm in your face" bright, LED's, because the LED'S are inset into the helmet. This keeps the light pretty much directional, where you want it. My experience is that these types of lights only last about three to six months. Even so, for the price of this light, the quality of light it puts out, and its design...if it only lasts six months, I will definately buy another one of these!

shipped in a couple of days...and the light is working great...good price. I went to walmart and office depot and they did not carry these lights...and I made a mistake when I went to best buy, everything there is double the price of what you can get thru amazon...Sorry I just changed my rating on this item to a one star, I have been using this light for about a month now, and suddenly I just turned my laptop on and one of the bulbs is burned out and the second one is flickering..I guess it was nice while it lasted...not worth the trouble contacting the vendor and I am not sure if they will replace...only cost 7dollars when I purchased plus shipping...now its at 14.99? you can get some cheaper ones thru amazon for a couple of bucks, that way when they burn out you can just trash..

I am taking a late night Elements class along with my Photo classes and when trying to read the paper work and see the keys on the laptop it is really hard in the dark. So Purchaed the 3 LED USB Flexible Laptop light for this job. It is wonderful and the person next to me can read the material also that way we are not all so tightly packed next to one another. I would recommend this light since it is taller than the other model and covers a larger area to view. My husband wants one now since he bought a different model and it does not cover the area this 3 LED USB laptop light covers. Others in the class asked about it and I gave them the websight to purchase this item. Again thank you for such a wonderful product. A Senior taking classed wanted for years I am 63 and enjoying the classes especially now that I can see what I am to do. This is a 10 star item to me.

Great product. Works as promised and brightens up laptop screen while working in darker areas of house. Very convenient to use and no batteries required!

This lite was everything I needed, never have had a lite and it was everything I was wanting and works very well

Great light. Easy to use and is great at lighting up the keyboard in low light situations with out blinding or reflecting off the screen into the eyes. Fast and effective shipping too. I will be a return shopper.

What's with solid black keyboards, anyhow - especially as I'm getting older and blinder?! Maybe someday computer manufacturers will catch on that millions of baby boomers with failing eyesight could really use some help in this department.

While waiting for THAT to happen, lucky for me, I found this flexible laptop light that works beautifully to end my frustration of feeling for the right keys in dim (or no) light. I just plug it in to the USB and bend the gooseneck to the angle just right for the situation. It coils tiny for traveling, which is good, because it goes everywhere my laptop and I go.

No power switch but none is needed. LED's are recessed into the head meaning no glare if adjusted right which is easy to do. Can easily illuminate the whole key board when properly positioned. Flex arm stays put and is a good length to position LED head so display is not blocked. All in all a good design.

I ordered 2 of these because I have 2 laptops that would need them, however the first 1 broke within the first week. It works well, but it could stand to be a little bit more adorable. I'll probably end up ordering 2 more just so that I have backups

I bought this for my netbook, needing a little extra light while writing a blog. The price was hard to beat. Of course, you get what you pay for. Within a week, the head had pulled away from the bending stem. Every time I use it, I have to screw it back into place. If I try to adjust the position while using it, the head comes off and I have to start all over again. Even at this price, it shouldn't have been disposable.

Disappointing.
