Beautiful book with some great recipes. I can't get enough of the Jalapeño Cornbread! My girlfriend (a vegetarian) and I (a carnivore) finally have a cookbook that keeps both of us happy.

I really enjoyed this book and use it all the time! There are lots of easy everyday recipes, beautiful and clear photos, and best of all -- almost all of the recipes can be easily customized for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike! As a staunch carnivore, I can definitely vouch for the flavor of recipes containing meat. I got it as a gift, but the proceeds benefit two great nonprofits, so you don't have to feel guilty about your purchase.

As a vegetarian living in a carnivore household, we have battled flexitarian eating for years....my cookbook shelf has been hopeful for a book that would allow home cooks to have an uncompromising approach to dishes that please both palettes at home.
I really enjoy making the easy to follow recipes, and my family enjoys eating them. The quinoa with tempeh and the baked tofu are hits for my family...they might even mistake me for an haute cuisine chef. An entertaining must-have for vegetarians living in a carnivore household!
