5.0 out of 5 stars Flexpower really works and doesn't smell gross like bengay
I was first introduced to FlexPower last year when I participated in a 60-mile walkathon for Breast Cancer. About the second day I started to feel pain in my calves and upper quad muscles. Someone introduced me to Flexpower. It provided intense heat to relieve stiff muscles yet didn't have the aweful smell of bengay. It rubs in like lotion and isn't oily. I loved it...

3.0 out of 5 stars Do analgesics in general work?
While the delayed and sustained sensation of this product is unique, I am not convinced that it has helped my tendinitis on the inboard sides of my knees a bit. I have been massaging it in almost every night for six months now (going to sleep with it burning on my legs) and my tendinitis has not gotten any better. This product may be no worse than other analgesics, but...

5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff rocks., October 11, 2004

This stuff rocks. I've used lots of different products before like Bengay, Tiger balm, Flexall, Advil, Tylenol, and FlexPower is so much better. I don't like taking a lot of pills so I usually use creams & ointments. But this doesn't stink like those others and it warms up a couple of minutes after putting it on. The jar lasts a really long time, too, I use it after running and sometimes before (I usually run 3-4 times a wk) and a jar'll last me at least a mth or two. Check out the athletes on their site. A lot of pro teams use it too and they have some big athletes endorsing it.

5.0 out of 5 stars back and shoulder pain at work, January 12, 2005
a friend of mine happened to have samples of flexpower and gave me a few when my shoulder and back were acting up at work. working on a computer for 10 hours have finally led to significant pain in my shoulder. i've been massaging flexpower on my shoulder after showers for a week now and the pain has pretty much gone away completely and it's the only thing that really gives off heat without any annoying smell. i checked out their site and their product endorsements are pretty impressive too.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works and I love it!, January 3, 2011
This review is from: Flexpower - Flex-Power Joint & Muscle Relief Cream, 2 oz cream (Misc.)
I played soccer for four years in college and have used all types of sports creams, including BioFreeze, Bengay, FlexAll, etc. Of all the products, I used, Flexpower works the best. I use it to warm up before my soccer game and I use it during the game to prevent myself from getting leg cramps.

It works especially well during the cold weather. Unlike other products, that burns/freezes your skins'outer layer, I can really feel the heat emitting from inside muscle tissues. Ever since I've been introduced in 2006, I have recommened it to all my professional/semi professional soccer players and they all have loved it and have recommened to their own respective team trainers!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works better than some, December 30, 2009
It works well enough for me. Even though it has the same active ingredient trolamine salicylate (10%) as something like Aspercreme, which I've tried, this one penetrates much better. I guess the Flex-some technology works.

It helps with sore muscles for me. It warms gently and doesn't stink. I think the price is a little high, that's why I gave it 4 stars, but I'll still continue to use it. I have used stronger and cheaper pain/heating rubs (menthol and camphor types) but they irritate my nasal passages with the strong smell they have.

The bottom line for me is that it helps with minor muscle and joint pain and DOES NOT stink.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really warms up and lasts for hours!!, December 13, 2009
As a bike racer living in Colorado we ride year round from 30F+. I have tried a bunch of other warming creams on my legs and none really warmed at all unless you get it on sensitive skin parts...then it burns. I got this as a sample pack at a bike race and never tried it until a few years later. I really worked and lasted for our 50 mile bike rides this winter. I use it after gym on legs and arms when skin is clean and you will feel it most. It does not smell like much and is clean scent like they say, no one will smell you downwind with this like other warming creams. I have used Natures Kiss Hot Stuff (smells good cinnamon but not warming), Qoleum (minty but no warmth).
One thing is even after 6 hours on legs, when I use the gym hot tub it gets really hot at first! Some may not like that hot. Wash hands well after using it if you have contacts or wipe your face at all.
I also use the Womans - Arnica based version- for after sports as it is supposed to reduce swelling and is not a pain relief version, it too warms up the legs the same as the Deep Heat and Recovery versions. I have no idea why it is a womans product as the smell is same as others and nothing woman specific to it. Arnica is used in the Anti-Flamme recovery product too I use, which smells of Lavendar and Rosemary...more a woman's scent!
I use all three Flexpower products even though the site has no info on it. I am sold on this stuff and wish they had a larger size than the 4 oz.
