Tomie's Flicks,
By Laura Gonzales (United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Flicks (Library Binding)
Tomie dePaola is absolutely one of my favorite children'sauthors. I have a special place for his books in my heart and Flicksis one of his many titles I have enjoyed. Flicks is a wordless picturebook, featuring five "silent movies". Wordless picturebooks are great to share with children, because children have the chance to make up a story line and it can be different each time.Tomie dePaola's use of line and shape in his illustrations makes the book very inviting, even though the illustrations are not in color. |
