Good Catalogue of flies,

This review is from: Flies for Trout (Paperback)
This book contains good photographs of many different kinds of flies, dries, nymphs, terrestials etc, and the recipe for tying them. Many of these flies are good for warm water species too. This is not a book on how to tie flies but the instructions will give a reasonably experienced tier enough information to produce the fly. Be aware that some early editions of the book are missing one chapter and part of 2 others (pages 49 through 64). Buy only later editions and printings. Used copies should be suspect.

Flys for Trout,
By Donald E. Bugg (Auburn Hills, Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Flies for Trout (Paperback)
This has been one of my key references in tying flys for my fishing in Michigan and Colorado. The instructions are clear, and color photos are excellent. I particularily liked the variety of patterns.
