1.0 out of 5 stars Not what I had hoped for
I just couldn't get into this book. I kept reading, plodding along a few pages at a time, hoping it would get better at some point, but it never did. I did finally finish it, which was somewhat of a relief. I guess you have to be a special type of person to appreciate it. This book is so obscure and crytic, it just left me in the dust. This one's destined for the thrift...

5.0 out of 5 stars Practical Wisdom, December 6, 2003
This review is from: The Flight of the Feathered Serpent (Paperback)
This is one of those books that you can read a hundred times and still only scratch the surface. Although the hidden knowledge it contains can be obscure, the writing is extremely powerful and intriguing. I always come away from it feeling much wiser, even when I'm unable to intellectually fathom why.

And I've also found that once one has a greater familiarity with esotericism - especially through the more explicit teachings of VM Beelzebub - a deeper practical understanding of this book can be gained, making it a valuable source of spiritual inspiration and strength in difficult times. It contains advice that is both very practical and very profound about how to work on oneself spritually.

A book to read intuitively!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of a Kind!, March 10, 2005
This review is from: The Flight of the Feathered Serpent (Paperback)
I am not a person who is moved very often. This is the only book I have ever read that has actually touched my heart, shook my soul, and woke me up to what really happened in an obscure page in the history of man.

Flight of the Feathered Serpent is made up of 3 books.

Book One is a very interesting true life account of the author's (Armando Cosani) interactions with a very wise friend he came to meet at a point in his life. The story that unfolds here is quite remarkable. It shows how ambitions in life can take a person almost completely away from their conscience. It also shows how friendship and wisdom can be our guiding light in awakening that conscience beyond our imagination.

Book Two and Three were from this very wise friend of Armando's. Book Two contains a set of very 'alive' teachings of spirituality using the ancient Mayan symbolism.

Book Three is an amazing account from the perspective of Judas concerning his meeting and events leading up to his "betrayal" of his teacher Jesus, the Christ. It clears up beautifully a very misunderstood section of the Chistic Drama.

This book is a must read for anyone who is interested in working to transcend their mundane lives and to experience the divine true purpose of life. This book is a great tool for revolutionary strength and inspiration!

There is so much wisdom in this book... you can discover new things and gain more understanding with each time you read it...

The book explains why Judas wasn't a bad guy after all... very interesting now with the new discovery of the Gospel of Judas, which explains the same!

Highly recommendable!

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly spiritual, March 27, 2006

This book is so amazing!
It is more than a book and it is a book in the same time.
It's truly magical -you read it and you change inside.
It really touches you, touches your heart and it's a challenge to read it, it goes all the way from simple language to the very hard to understand, full of deep esoteric symbolism, language of mysticism. If you read it with closed heart it opens you, if it's opened, it opens it more and more. It's like a door to another world which is so more real than where we live. Like a spring where you can go time to time and drink fresh water. It tells you a story of a greatest Master which was so abused, is abused and will be abused.
I find it a very good addition to teachings of Samael Aun Weor, Rabolu, and Mark Pritchard, Master Belzebuub available at Gnosticweb.
It is also an excellent addition to teachings of George Gourgieff.
I can recomend it to read to all the people who have read many esoteric, religious and spiritual books and still could not be fully satisfied.
This is a great book.

The story and teachings contained within this book can only be described as profound, magical, and inspirational. I have not fully grasped the wisdom and teachings that are offerred in it, but I hope to one day grasp and understand the true meanings being offerred. I highly recommend the book to anyone interested in esotericism, spirituality, or the mystery surrounding the life of Judas of Kariot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Judas was a good guy after all - huh!?, March 15, 2005

This book contains the untold story of Judas Iscariot. For those who want the whole truth about who he really was, this book can lead us to the answers...

I found it really inspiring to hear the insights of one of the disciples first-hand, and in such a simple and straightforward manner.

Though it can be a bit obscure at times, this book has helped me a great deal to understand not only deeper meanings of the life and role of Jesus and his disciples; but also, how to better implement their teachings practically - in daily life.

If you have any interest whatsoever in spirituality, be it from a practical or historical point of view, you are in for a real treat with the Flight of the Feathered Serpent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Flight of the feathered serpent, November 15, 2003

This book is inspiring it's great to read insights into a historical figure who has been so misunderstood. It also shows that there is a reality beyond what we know and the history of the Christic drama is deeper then the historical accounts we have taken to be true. The way the author describes the Master Judas is amazing" I could never understand this strange man of moderate words, who seemed to enjoy confusing me with his caustic and paradoxical observations upon all things. He gave the impression of being taciturn. However, soon after dealing with him, one couldn't help noticing the most extraordinary fact I have come across in my agitated life: he was a smile. He was it from head to toe. He didn't smile, he didn't need to smile; he was all a smile."
The book is great read and enjoyable from begining to end.
I thoroughly recommend the flight of the feathered serpent for those out there who want to go beyond the stale and inacurate accounts of the past and experiance esoteric teachings that will feed your consciousness.

5.0 out of 5 stars An expertly crafted work of spirituality, highly recommended, June 9, 2009
Does the man whose name is synonymous with the word 'traitor' have anything to teach us? "The Flight of the Feathered Serpent: Are These the Secret Teachings of Judas Iscariot?" is one man's true story connected to the gospel of one of Christianity's alleged villains, Judas. When a journalist discovered these writings and their purpose (perhaps a justification for the actions of Judas?), he experienced an epiphany that changed his life forever. "The Flight of the Feathered Serpent" is an expertly crafted work of spirituality, highly recommended.
