It seems like everyone at least knows who Charles Lindbergh was, but, like myself, we have never taken the time to read what he had to say himself. This short book (essay really) defined his passion and outlook on humanity and the field he loved so much - aviation. Brave, patriotic, outspoken, and wise. I wish I had read this earlier!
