5.0 out of 5 stars action packed historical fiction, August 28, 1998

What a great book. A brilliant, on the edge, adventure on the unforgiving Russian front. The characters are brought to life in one of the scariest, craziest, and saddest frontlines of all time. I couldn't put it down. It's extremely interesting to put yourself in the German perspective for a change. They also had their heroes and villians at the same time.
